The "Before" Years

Well, doing the recap of all the years since the inception of this blog got me to thinking about all years before that. Ones not recorded here. Again, can an entire year be boiled down to one pivotal moment in time? The one thing that happened that made all the difference going forward?

2002

Brian and I began dating and got engaged. That was a pretty pivotal moment, I guess;-)

2003

Married!! That really had to be the biggest news of 2003!

2004

We left New York with hopes and dreams and visions of beaches, and landed in Virginia Beach. We decided that this would be the place we'd call home

2005

The biggest deal of 2005 was our first house purchase. Unbeknownst to us, our future depended on the purchase of this house, and the decision to buy a duplex, for the rental possibilities. If not for this house, it is fairly certain to say that we would not be where we are today.

2006

In 2006, we became parents with the birth of our first child, Kennedy Shea. She's pretty much been the highlight of every subsequent year, too, but you know...posting too many pictures of her gives her a mighty big head;-)
