Swim Time

The kids are crazy about swimming!! They each got a couple time outs to ponder such things as not throwing water in peoples faces, or dumping large quantities over the edge on purpose. All in all, a very successful first-of-the-summer backyard swim!

Hilarious and Gross

While we were moving Lauren on Saturday, at one point, I was holding the baby. Kenna was talking to him and making him laugh, so I leaned him down, over her, so she could kiss him. He barfed all over her face! As is typical for me, I started laughing while reaching for something to wipe it up/off. All the while saying things like, I'm soooo sorry! This is so gross! And Kenna says "Not to worry! Not to worry! It didn't get in my mouth!" This said as I am wiping it out of her eyes. She didn't seem to mind one bit, and it was truly disgusting. Now Brian and I say, "not to worry!" such a funny little kid!

Fridays

A fun Friday with a yummy strawberry smoothie snack!


They love smoothie drinks. I have a feeling we'll be making these LOTS this summer. Every time they get hot playing outside, they want one.


Just chilling. What a Kenna lookalike eh? Or Brian's little mini-me. He's so adorable and SO GOOD. He just eats, plays and sleeps with very little issue. We love our 'Weyton Gwey'!


I might seem weird to see him in pics fully clothed in the hot summer...but it gets really cold inside with the air conditioning, so we have to keep him warm! When we go out, he sports the cool onesie outfits:-)

New Neighbour

Brian's sister, Lauren (aka Auntie Noni) just bought a house on our street! We are 'practically' next door, as there is only one house between us. The kids are super excited. Saturday was move in day. The kids decided they would move their swimming pool to her backyard and swim there:-)

All moved in! Now her garage is full of boxes:-)

I made this "family" art to go in the livingroom. I had an old picture frame in the closet I just re-discovered this past week, so I decided to make good use of it. I am in love with how this turned out.

Easy Tiramisu - Recipe

This recipe is from my Auntie Collette. I love it, and it's a really simple version of tiramisu, and really tasty too!

2 pkg (8 oz each) regular or light cream cheese, softened
1 can regular or low-fat sweetened condensed milk
2 to 4 tsp rum extract
1 container (4 cups) frozen whipped topping, thawed
48 (3 inch) soft ladyfingers
about 2/3 cup cold strong coffee
3oz semi-sweet chocolate, grated

Beat cream cheese until fluffy; gradually add sweetened condensed milk and rum extract. Fold in whipped topping; set aside. Line the bottom of a 12 cup serving bowl with 1/4 of the ladyfingers; brush with 1/4 of the coffee. Spoon 1/4 of the cream cheese mixture over the ladyfingers; sprinkle with grated chocolate. Repeat above process three times, ending with layer of grated chocolate. Cover and chill overnight.

Play Time

I am going to guess that Grey is going to be ahead on his milestones, just like the other two were. He seems to be done with being an infant, and wants to be a baby. He tries to sit up when you have him reclined. He tries to rollover whenever he is on his tummy. He loves to talk and laugh. He just wants to be bigger!
