Wedding

Here are a lot of pictures of Davis and Danielle's wedding. It was a really fun day. I posted a video of the ceremony itself, HERE.

Family wedding pictures at Wascana Centre. I will have to wait for the official release to get one...I was in the pics so didn't get any of all of us.

I made about 120 cupcakes for the wedding. It was really fun. There were 5 different varieties. And they were all good!

Going away outfits! Davis is wearing my Dad's going away suit, from his wedding in 1977. Amazing, right?! It fit him perfectly and it was just too cool. Those bell bottom pants take the cake!

The take home gift for guests was a personalized picture, they were hung around the room as part of the decor

After some rain, we saw the weirdest and coolest clouds I have ever seen. They really looked like cotton balls in the sky

Moose Jaw is about 40 minutes from Regina, and Moose Jaw is the location of Al Capone`s infamous tunnels. He came to Canada during the prohibition in the USA and then made liquor etc and bootlegged it back to the States. He built extensive tunnels under the city, so no one would know of his enterprise. He was finally discovered when the street above collapsed down through a tunnel.

We were not supposed to take pics on the tour, but I did sneak a few when no one was looking:-D

In an underground room, this was a telephone switchboard where they would listen to conversations to make sure they weren`t about to get caught

Another room underground. You can see some barrels of alcohol. Notice the walls...the tunnels were narrow and not very tall, and all made out of the stone walls.

This is the street that collapsed leading authorities to discover the tunnels and what he was up to.

It was a really great tour and sooo interesting. I`d always heard Al Capone had a link to Saskatchewan with his criminal enterprise, so it was well worth it to go and walk the tunnels firsthand. I went on this tour with my Grandpa Shantz and my Great Aunt & Uncle, Ken & Elinore, while all the other adults and kids went swimming at a pool that is a mineral spring, and was very warm, they said. A fun day in Moose Jaw!

We took all the kids (Cuzzies:-) to a park and splash pads. It was a lot of fun for most...not for Brooks, who was very overtired and not in the mood. Brian asked him what his grumpiness level was on a scale of 1 to 10, Brooks responded, TEN, lol.

Ok, I will slowly start catching up with my posts, as I can:-) They are not necessarily in a particular order, so bear with me with this process. Eventually, they`ll all be online and it will all make better sense I`m sure.

On June 23rd, Davis and Danielle invited us over to their new home for breakfast. Dani has a marvelous sense of style, and their home is wonderful and inviting. I will post pics of their colours and decor on the Kennedy blog, soon.

They hosted a ton of people!

They made us the most delicious breakfast pitas...a greek kind of food on a puffy soft pita, omelette, feta, etc...One of the most filling and amazing breakfasts I`ve ever had!
