Ireland - Torc Falls and Jaunting Car

This was our "Ring of Kerry" day - and we decided to grab a jaunting car (horse and buggy) to tour some of Killarney National Park, and go see Torc Waterfall. Was I "today years old" when I realized Car was short for Carriage?! Yes. Yes I was.

The green cannot be under emphasized. Everything was SO GREEN. 

Kerry cows, they are rare now, nearly extinct and one of the oldest breeds in Europe.

If you go to Ireland, or anywhere I'd imagine, and have the chance to travel by horse & carriage - do it. In our case it was unplanned but perfect timing - cash needed. But oh so worth it.
