Start with some yummy ingredients...Heavy Cream, Homo Milk, sugar, salt and vanilla.
|YES, I am Canadian and will continue to unashamedly call it Homo milk...if this embarrasses you, you are definitely an American. CANADIANS, if you want a red face or a giggle say "Homo Milk" or "Regina" next time you are down south. It's worth it.|
|Mix the sugar, milk and cream, and let it cool in the fridge|
|Keep the freezer bowl in the freezer, then it is always ready to make a batch whenever you want! It make 1.5 quarts at a time.|
|Put it all together, and pour the liquid in through the wide open top. Turn on and it will churn away for about 15-20 minutes.|
|It's starting to form into real ice cream. This batch, I added some chocolate chips right near the end (at about the 15 minute mark). This is some GOOD ice cream. The kids are in love!!|
