Ireland - Neo Gothic Church at Kylemore Castle

Mitchell Henry built a mini cathedral in memory of his late wife - it's about 1km from the Castle.

On the walk over, here is the lake - where they think all that marble is sitting 😓

Pics loaded in reverse order, oh well. He used coloured marble pillars to signify the 4 regions of Ireland.

The Henry's were Unitarians which was apparently not common at that time, or in that area - they were from England, so I am unsure about how common it was there.

The heating vent in the floor

Truly a stunning church!!
