It's a...

BOY!! Our son, Brooklyn Carson James Bolger (we call him Brooks) was born at 5:31am on May 2nd. He weighed exactly 8 lbs, and was 21 ins long. He came extremely fast, with mom having only 1.5 hours of real labour (and only 30 minutes of that was painful!). We met the midwife at the hospital at 5:00, thinking we had quite a few hours ahead of us, and as soon as we arrived things decided to speed up! We'll post some more pictures and videos soon...

    Excellent pics. He looks suprisingly perfect. Usually newborns are bit more homely ;)

    I didn't know you had a blog. I'll make sure to stay tuned :) Actually you probably didn't know that I have a blog as well. But its all about horse racing so you might not be so interested.

    Brooks is so cute! He has the perfect little round face, and man does he have a ton of hair! lol I'm so glad for you that the labor was short. My Mom had a couple of 1 1/2 hour labors. I'm hoping to take after my Mom. :-) Her longest was only 7 hours. Congrats and I'll be praying sleep for you! :-)
